On the back nine the remnants of an old gravel quarry afforded many unique opportunities to forge spectacular holes amid the weathered vertical sand backs. The two most visually striking holes are found on the back and once a golfer reaches the crest of the par 5, 13th, a panorama unlike any other in the Washington area unfolds. “Man and Mother Nature have given us an unbelievable opportunity to create something that looks like the high country of Colorado, versus the low lands of Maryland,” says Clark. Upon its opening in July of 2003, the Clubhouse at Cross Creek Golf Club has been a place to relax and enjoy a good meal, for both our players and our community. Within the clubhouse you will find the Quarry Grill, an upscale bar and grill serving excellent food to our favorite guests. Banquet space is also available for those individuals who wish to host reserve space for private events or weddings. Our patio is open seasonally for those who wish to sample an appetizer and a cocktail, while enjoying scenic views of the course.
