This property consists of two tracts. Tract 1 (north) is 100 acres of which there is 65 acres of fertile cropland and the remainder is pasture and woods. Crop yields have been about 160 bushels per acre for corn and 55 bushels for soybeans. There is a small patch of alfalfa on the west side. The north part of the property has numerous “fingers” that provide great whitetail cover and habitat, thus some great hunting. This whole area is noted for producing trophy bucks and lots of them. Take a look at the accompanying photos of the bucks that have been taken off this farm. There is an old farmstead with buildings of little or no value. There are a couple of ponds of little consequence. Tract 2 (south) is strictly a recreational property. There are no improvements. Small creeks crisscross the property and provide a great hunting experience. There is Thomas Hill district water on the front of the property where you could build a hunting lodge or establish a hunter’s camp.
